Birthday package giveaway: official rules
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A purchase does not improve your chance of winning. Void where prohibited.
Who is running this
The giveaway is run by Siege Axe Lounge LLC, 1606 Arlington St, Suite A, Ada, OK 74820, referred to below as Siege. It is not run by, sponsored by or associated with Facebook, Instagram, Google or any other platform it may be shared on.
Who can enter
Entry is open to people who are 18 or over at the time they enter and who live in the United States. Employees of Siege and members of their immediate households or households they live in may not enter.
Age is checked against the date of birth given on the entry form, and an entry giving a date of birth under 18 is not taken. Every winner, including a referrer who wins, must show a valid photo ID proving they are 18 or over before the prize is given.
When it runs
The entry period runs from the opening date to the closing date shown on the giveaway page. Entries recorded outside that period are not counted. Siege's own clock decides what time it is, and that clock is Central Time.
How to enter
Go to the giveaway page on the Siege website and give your first and last name, your date of birth, your email address and your phone number. You may also give the name and date of birth of the person the prize would be for, if that is not you. You must also tick the box agreeing to these rules. That records one entry, and entering the same email address again does not add another.
Sharing your link
After entering you are given a link of your own. Sharing it does not add entries, because every entrant holds one entry.
Everyone gets one entry. Share your link: if the person drawn entered using your link, you win the same prize too, so one draw can give away two.
The entrant whose link another entry was made through is that entry's referrer, and an entry made through the entrant's own link has none. Each entry has at most one referrer, fixed at the moment the entry is made. If the entrant drawn has a referrer, the referrer wins a second prize from Siege, the same as the one described below.
A second prize is awarded to a referrer whose own entry is valid at the time of the draw. If the referrer is not eligible, has had their entry removed, or does not confirm within seven days of being contacted, Siege holds a second drawing for that prize from the remaining valid entries. The entrant drawn in the second drawing wins that prize alone, with no further referral prize.
An entry that appears to have been made by somebody other than the person named, or made through automated means, or made using an address that is not a real address the entrant reads, may be removed along with any entries it earned.
The prize
The prize is a private birthday party of 2.5 hours at Siege, 1606 Arlington St, Suite A in Ada, for up to 100 guests. Siege is closed to the public for the party, which includes every axe lane with staff to coach, the golf simulator, the pool tables, the table-top games and use of the venue's displays and sound system.
Food and drink are not included: the winner may bring outside food and a cake with no fee, or add Siege's food and drink package at their own cost. Alcohol is sold only to guests 21 or over with valid ID, at their own or the winner's cost.
Guests above 100, sales tax on anything the winner adds, and any gratuity are the winner's to pay.
The approximate retail value of one prize is $1,200.
One prize is awarded to the entrant drawn, and a second, identical prize to their referrer if they have one, so no more than two prizes are awarded. A prize must be used by December 31, 2027, and only outside Siege's public opening hours as shown on the Siege website. A prize not used by then is forfeited. A prize is not transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and is subject to what Siege can offer on the date the winner asks for. Any tax owed on a prize is the winner's to pay.
The draw
After the closing date Siege draws one winner at random from all valid entries. Every entrant holds one entry, so every entrant has the same chance, and the odds depend on how many entries are received in total. A referrer does not need to be drawn to win: their prize follows from the entrant who was.
Telling the winner
After the draw, Siege lets entrants know whether they have won by phone call, email or text, using the phone number and email address their entries were made with. The winner, and their referrer if they have one, are contacted within seven days of the draw. A winner has seven days from being contacted to confirm. If the entrant drawn does not confirm in that time, Siege draws again, and the referrer of the entrant drawn again wins in the same way.
Your details
Siege keeps the first and last name, date of birth, email address and phone number on each entry, the name and date of birth of the person an entrant says the prize would be for if they give them, and which entry referred which, and uses them to run and draw the giveaway and to contact entrants about the result. The entrant's date of birth is used to check eligibility. The details of the person the prize would be for are used only to plan the party if the entry wins, and are never used to contact that person.
Siege keeps the date and time each entrant agreed to these rules with their entry. Message and data rates may apply to a text.
Any entrant may ask for their details to be removed by calling (580) 453-4045 or emailing contact@siegeada.com, which also withdraws the entry. The privacy policy covers how the rest of the site handles data.
Changes
Siege may end, suspend or change this giveaway if it cannot be run as described, including for a technical fault or anything outside Siege's control.
